Consul General Nawata’s Visit to the Karnataka State Olympic Committee

On September 4, Consul General Nawata was invited to the Karnataka State Olympic Committee, where he exchanged views with the committee’s executives. The grounds where the committee office is located, feature indoor and outdoor stadiums, as well as dedicated gymnasiums for sports such as basketball and badminton. The committee is engaged in developing programs for under 14 athletes within the state. In October, a tournament bringing together the winning women’s club teams from various Asian countries, including Japan, is scheduled to be held at the indoor stadium, and I look forward to cheering them on.
