2026/8/24
On August 19, Consul General Nawata received a courtesy call from students participating in the BRIDGE Challenge Trip. This project is an international exchange program organized by the NPO Japanese-Asian Pacific Children’s Conference (APCC) in Fukuoka, which was launched in 1989 with the aim of promoting international mutual understanding and friendship among children in the Asia-Pacific region. The Consul General summarized activities of the Consulate General and cultural exchange events held locally, and answered questions from the participating students regarding life in India and his experiences as a Ministry of Foreign Affairs official. Executives from the Indian host organization offered favorable comments, noting that the students were enthusiastic, polite, and disciplined.
