Consul General Nawata delivers a lecture at Christ University

On August 12, Consul General Nawata was invited by Christ University to deliver a lecture to the students, based on the topic, “India-Japan Relations – The Way Forward”. The Consul General introduced the outcomes agreed upon at last month’s India-Japan Summit and spoke about the importance of fostering mutual understanding and trust, particularly through cultural exchanges at the grassroots level to advance relations between the two countries going forward. A lively exchange followed during the subsequent question-and-answer session. We hope that a keen interest in Japanese culture, including pop culture, will lead to more such exchanges.
