International Travelling Exhibition TOKYO Before/After

The International Travelling Exhibition ‘TOKYO Before/After’, organised by the Consulate-General of Japan in Bengaluru and the Japan Foundation, New Delhiwill be held from 13 August to 22 August 2026 at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.
Opening hours: 10.30 am to 6.30 pm.

This Travelling Exhibition is a photography exhibition that introduces Tokyo in the 1930s and 1940s, juxtaposing it with Tokyo from 2010 onwards, through frames taken by photographers of each respective era. The exhibition aims to provide Indian audiences with a broad and deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of Tokyo, by showcasing thebeautiful cityin two different eras from various perspectives, in a manner that fosters understanding of and interest in Japanese culture
