Consul General Nawata attended a sake promotion event

On June 27, Consul General Nawata attended a sake promotion event held in the city. This event provided an opportunity for Ms. Mika Eoka—known as “Sake Mom” and serving as the National Tax Agency’s India Export Coordinator for Reiwa 8—to introduce new ways to enjoy Japanese alcoholic beverages through pairings of Japanese cuisine and sake. The Consul General himself promoted the appeal of sake and Japanese cuisine while enjoying their culture alongside the wine enthusiasts gathered at the venue.
