On September 21, semi-pro runner Ms. Mitsuko Ino, who participated in the Bengaluru Marathon from Japan, along with members of the Japanese Residents' Running Club, paid a courtesy call on Consul General Nakane.
About 35,000 citizens participated in this 12th edition of the marathon. Runner Ino achieved an impressive 1st place finish in the women's open category.
