On August 11 and 12, Mayor of Nagoya City, Mr. Ichiro Hirosawa visited Bengaluru accompanied by a delegation of local university representatives and business leaders.
Consul General Nakane briefed the delegation on the local situation, and the mayor and his delegation visited the Large and Medium Industries Ministry, Karnataka and BBMP. The delegation also exchanged opinions with a few representatives of Japanese companies operating in Karnataka.
