On May 14, Consul-General Nakane met with S.P. Patil, Minister for Health, Education, and Skill Development, who is visiting Japan to analyse the technical skill training practices and briefed him on Japan's policies for accepting foreign workers.
The Minister expressed interest in referring Japan's skilled human resource training policies to improve employment rates of industrial school students and also incorporating language training, including Japanese, into their programs.
