On April 5, 2025, the Bangalore Supplementary School for Japanese children, held its entrance ceremony for the 2025 academic year, with Consul General Nakane attending as guest of honor.
Eight first grade students were admitted to the school this year. This brings the total number of students at the school to 99, a significant increase from when the school reopened in September 2022.
