Reception to Celebrate the Emperor's Birthday in 2025

On February 7, 2025, the Japanese National Day Reception was held at a hotel in the city to celebrate the birthday of the Emperor of Japan. His Majesty will celebrate his 7th year on the throne this year.
The reception was attended by approximately 400 people, including Mr. M B Patil, Minister of large & medium Industries, State Government officials, and representatives of Japanese and Indian companies. The event featured booths introducing Kochi Prefecture's seafood products, Japanese sake, and Japanese companies, and also a demonstration by Omotesenke (a school of Japanese tea ceremony) among other activities, to celebrate His Majesty's 65th birthday.
