On January 22, Consul General Nakane attended the opening ceremony of Brother Machinery India's new plant at the Tumakuru Japan Industrial Park, together with Mr. Ikeda, President of the Head Office based in Nagoya.
The plant, which manufactures machine tools, is the third of its kind in the world after Japan and China. The company aims to shorten delivery times and expand its customer base through local production.
