On February 17, Consul General Nakane visited the Bengaluru factory of Amrut Distilleries, India's leading whiskey manufacturer.
According to Mr. Rakshit N. Jagdale, President of AMRUT, the company has been in operation for 76 years and produces single malt and several other types of whiskey. Apart from domestic sales, Amrut Whiskey is also exported to 57 countries including Japan.
