Consul-General Nakane participated in Japan Habba

Consul-General Nakane participated in the Japan-India Cultural Exchange Event “Japan Habba 2023” (Phoenix) held in Bengaluru on May 13-14, 2023, co-sponsored by the Consulate-General of Japan. The event was back in its offline avatar after a 3 year gap due to Covid restrictions.
On 13th, the first day, an Indo-Japan Tech Fair featured various lectures and business introduction booths by about 20 supporting companies and co-sponsors. Many Indian participants showed great interest in the fair.
On 14th, more than 30 cultural events, both small and large scale took place. Numerous interactive Japanese events, including dance performances, karaoke contests, and quiz competitions, filled the venue with enthusiasm and energy.
The Sanshin performance by Mr. Terukina Tomokuni and Mr. Uehara Shinji, of the Afuso-Ryu school of Ryukyuan classical music, attracted many visitors.
