PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE WHILE ENTERING THE CONSULATE
The pandemic of the Covid-19 continues in Karnataka, including Bengaluru, as in the other states of India. In view of preventing the staff and the visitors from getting infected, thermography screening will be introduced in the Consulate-General from the afternoon on January 12th, 2021. Every visitor will be subjected to the checking of the body temperature by the thermography camera, and they will also be subject to baggage inspection as well. It is to be noted that in case the body temperature is 37.0 degrees Celsius or higher (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or higher), entry to the Consulate-General is not permitted as a general rule. Thus, we request the visitors to please contact us by phone before visiting, in the case that their usual body temperature is high. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
