Japan Food Fest 2018

The Consulate-General of Japan in Bengaluru held Japan Food Fest 2018 on 11th November 2018 at Hotel Shangri-La that was open to the public. A crowd of over 1500 people gathered to savour a variety of Japanese food, both authentic and fusion from various restaurants all over Bangalore. For those who wished to enjoy more than just the food, there was Japanese Sake tasting, other accompaniments and cultural programmes for the entire family including children to enjoy. From Japanese song karaoke by Indians, Japanese people singing Indian songs, Karate demonstration, Violin recital, Koto recital and a special sashimi demonstration kept the the crowd engaged while they enjoyed the food. The growing popularity of Japanese food & Sake was evident and we are sure that the Japan Food Fest will only grow bigger and better every year!
