Cosplay Walk 2019

The 2nd edition of Cosplay Walk hosted by the Consulate-General of Japan in Bengaluru on 24th March 2019 (Sunday) brought together more than 110 Cosplayers and Otakus from all over India to walk the St. Mark's Road of Bengaluru in colorful and some very elaborate costumes depicting characters from various Animes & Manga comics. This free event had more than 400 visitors gathered at St. Mark's Hotel to experience Japanese Pop-culture. Visitors were not only there to see & take photos with the cosplayers but there was a lot of other entertainment too. Live Japanese pop-music & dance, Sale of anime merchandise and manga comics, Playstation kiosks, try fun costumes and get photos taken for free... all this sums up the fun afternoon that was!
