Peace Day Gathering at St. Joseph's High School

 On August 9, a Peace Day gathering was held at St. Joseph's High School in Bengaluru on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
 The event was attended by about 500 students, who prayed for the victims of the atomic bombings and held speeches and musical performances in pursuit of world peace. Consul General Nakane, who was invited to the event, appreciated the school's efforts to promote world peace. He introduced Japan's Three Non-Nuclear Principles1 as well as Japan's contributions to international peace and stability to the gathering.
