Consul-General Nakane attended the inaugural reception and interactive session with Industry Minister M.B. Patil

On June 12, the Consul-General Nakane attended the inaugural reception and interactive session organized by Karnataka State Minister of Large and Medium Industries, M.B. Patil, who assumed office in May 2023.
The meeting was attended by approximately 160 people represented by business leaders, economic organizations, and Consular missions. The Minister spoke about the policies and aspirations for the future, and participants voiced their expectations and suggestions.
Consul-General Nakane personally exchanged greetings with Minister Patil and elaborated on the issues faced by Japanese companies expanding into Karnataka and about the Japan Industrial Township in Tumkur. Minister Patil expressed his interest to hold an exclusive discussion to address these issues.
